Asset Tracker

Flight tracking allows the client to view their aircraft's position and details from anywhere in the world. The Flight Tracking system is designed to receive satellite messages from assets en route or end users on the ground, in the form of GPS position reports, two-way text messages, or telemetric data reports. Users can track assets, communicate via simple text messaging, and receive and update flight plans.

With this technology, dispatchers, logistics and operations managers as well as executives have the power to control all of their assets (aviation, marine or land based) from their desk. Asset management has never been easier.

Cabin Monitoring

Also available and providing a view of map and flight data information, is a Cabin Information Display System. This product automatically cycles between map and flight data information during the flight.

Satellite Phones

To facilitate SATCOM communication from the aircraft crew to the ground Star also provides:

• Cockpit Headset - Provides communication through satellite from flight crew to key personnel on ground.
• Cabin Fixed - Satellite telephone operates through the Iridium Satellite network allowing voice and data communications from the cabin to the ground.
• Cabin Cordless - Satellite cordless telephone allows flight crew to communicate through the Iridium Satellite network from any location in the cabin during flight.

"2-Way" Messaging

• Short Code Messages - Pre-programmed short code messages are sent. Short code definitions can be programmed directly or remotely.
• Email Messages - Ground personnel have the ability to send email messages to the cockpit. The pilot can look into the message from the aircraft while in-flight.
• Flight Plans - Specified information regarding the flight displayed.

WIFI Data Recovery

In addition to providing timely, instantaneous "Alerts" via email and/or pager to customer personnel, TERRASTAR^TM can also be adapted for WIFI communications. As an aircraft approaches its destination, all relevant aircraft information can be easily transmitted to the ground station once the aircraft stops at its gate. This bypasses any personnel requirements to board the aircraft and download the data to a cartridge, disk or tape. This additional data can be used for further detailed analysis on ground. WIFI will be available through Star as a separate product or as a function of TERRASTAR^TM.

Environmental Monitoring

This system will constantly monitor the condition of the air quality in the aircraft. Any suspicious contagions in the air can be identified and communicated to the ground station and airline personnel.

Medical Monitoring

Collaborating with North America's Largest Air Ambulance operator Star is developing a Passenger Medical Monitoring System. This will assist airline crews in diagnosing and treating on-board passengers in need of immediate medical attention. The product has both hardware and software components, and is being developed in partnership with well known medical devices and healthcare service companies. Components of the system will include:

• Ground Based Medical Team & Advisory
• Hospitalization Routing
