Star Navigation Holds Aviation Accident Prevention Conference / Seminar with Flightpath in Kenya

Brampton, Ontario–(Newsfile Corp. – April 19, 2022) – Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (CSE: SNA) (“Star” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it recently held an Aviation Accidents Preventions Conference jointly with FlightPath International Limited (“FPI”). Held in Nairobi, Kenya, the conference ran from March 10-15, 2022. Concurrently, the team met with individual airlines in Nairobi.

The Company is looking to further showcase itsSTAR-A.D.S.® products, along with FPI’s training systems, to unlock more opportunities and broaden the aviation industry’s knowledge about both Star and FPI in the East and West African Region. Airlines from Ghana and Tanzania also participated in the Conference.

The Conference welcomed over 25 different airlines and MRO’s from the East and West African Regions. This integrated joint marketing and sales initiatives approach will help Star create brand awareness and industry credibility while promoting both Star and FPI products and services.

On the second day, the Star team presented to the Directorate of Aviation Safety & Security Regulation of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (“KCAA”). The presentation highlighted its STAR-A.D.S.® products including the Star In-flight Safety Monitoring System and services, as well as its GADSS program initiative. Star’s presentation and offerings were well received and appreciated for safer skies in Kenya. The KCAA acknowledged the Star system as a timely and relevant technology, noting that it would enhance safety in the Kenyan airspace by identifying trends and assisting in incident and accident prevention.
